Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Extremely dangerous for pedestrian's crossing to transport hub

There is no pedestrian crossing or pedestrian lights for people walking to bus/train from the direction of Ireland Road. To cross safely with lights means another 6 or 7 minutes walk and no one is going to do that when it might mean missing a bus/train and being late for work/school. Cars come off the busy Panmure roundabout at speed and are not expecting pedestrians running across in front of them. This is an accident waiting to happen and when it does it will be a serious one. Is this what it will take to get the road crossing safer?
