Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Seems like a vehicle containing what appears to have been a drum of FAT waste came around the corner from Vivian St (SH1) into upper Cuba St striking the street pole and damaging the round drum shaped PHANTOM billboard surrounding the pole. THe Fat has splattered at least 4 meters up the street pole, all over the footpath, on Un-corked balcony, under and on the side of the Ombra canopy and on the road. Someone has either cleaned up the majority of the mess on the footpath or shoes have carried it away.
