FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Malfunctioning street lights

Lights from the Kelvin Rd - Willis Rd corner, down to about 21 Kelvin Road are out again. We have had nothing but trouble with these lights for at least the past two years and want a permanent repair to be undertaken. From the corner down to 21 Kelvin Road is extremely dark and unfortunately, opportunistic thieves use the darkness to wander through properties, break into vehicles and garages looking for something to steal. There is also the fact that many of the residents in this particular part of the street are elderly, and very fearful when the lights are out. We would appreciate it if these lights could be fixed properly, the money spent on constantly sending out workmen could be better spent elsewhere.

The street light in the cul-de -sac needs replacement as it is out since Sunday 20/07/2014.- Thank you
