Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Curletts Road Lunns Road Right Turn Traffic Lights

At peak trafic times (from around 7.30 am to well after 9am) the Curletts Road Lunns Road right arrow is either not staying green for long enough. The right arrow also stays red when there are plenty of opportunities to turn right. This morning traffic was backed up back onto the motorway. With the Burmingham detour perhaps the arrow timing should be reviewed.

Updates

The right turn from Curletts to Lunns has increased green time - so there should be higher capacity and lower queues - this is the feedback received from the SCIRT traffic planner.
