Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Phasing not ideal

Hi, the phasing of lights at the top of Greville Road (corner of East Coast Rd & Greville Rd) has changed recently and is causing massive build up of traffic waiting on Greville Road to turn right onto East Coast Road. Heaps of traffic comes off the motorway and up Greville Road to turn right at the lights. The traffic has recently been backed up for 100 odd metres and takes ages to get through the lights. A week or so ago, the phasing was perfect. It's very frustrating, sitting waiting for ages whilst the light is green for traffic heading north on East Coast Rd, going straight through the lights - the signal for them is green FOR AGES and there are not even any cars coming along, meanwhile all the turning traffic is sitting waiting! When the light finally goes green, it is green for 7-8 seconds which lets 5-6 cars through! It is causing a major traffic jam. Can someone please return the phasing to how it was as it was working very well. Thanks
