Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

There were 7 lights out at the end of MAY, and now they have increased to 12 lights. I reported this to the TpoDC in July. Nothing has been fixed. They range from south of the airport roundabout to 18 Victory Drive.

Request 1221080 closed at TaupoDC. WEL Energy was already informed about the cable network fault for the lights along Victory Drive {detail} have send their Contractor to fix this. Will give WEL defects again for their action. The lights along SH1 from the roundabout was checked by the Contractor to check if there's a cable fault. Found that they're only a faulty lamp and the will start replacing the lamps tomorrow.
