Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Damaged road signs

Reported in the Signs category anonymously at 18:40, Fri 5 October 2012

There are 2 damaged signs. One (showing keep left arrows) has been hit by a car and partly bent over. The other is a large sign signalling speed bumps. It has also been hit by a car and the last gale force winds caused the strapping on one side to tear so that the sign flaps around significantly in a southerly wind.

Updates

I live at Cuba street, Petone, Lower Hutt. One of the Road signs pole (Give way sign and Udy street sign has been broken and was laying in the footpath. It has been there since Last Saturday and hasn't been fixed yet . since it was a nuisance to the pedestrian and the traffic we have placed the broken pole in our front yard at 109 Cuba street. Can someone please pick the signs and fix it? My contact details 0210327605
