FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Hi, Our takeaway is at 1119 Great North Rd, next to the 'Z' petrol station. There is a leaking fire hydrant outside our takeaway. It has been leaking for the past two weeks and appears to be worsening. It is detracting customers as it collects rubbish, which in turn is brought into the shop under people's shoes. On fine days our customers cannot enjoy their meals on the tables outside with the water and collected rubbish flowing beside them. Can we please have this seen to asap. Thanks Kristina
