Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Cycle lane has been repaired badly - very bumpy

The problem area is the cycle lane on the East (South-going) edge of Clarence Street just South of Dilworth Street. This is part of the main road surface, not on the pavement. The road was repaired some time in 2011, and the patch is about as smooth as corrugated iron. Cyclist tend to avoid it, causing clashes with motorists. Please send the incompetents who did the repair job back to fix it, in their own time at their own expense!
