Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

About 900 metres up Mapara Road there is a yellow road sign with black arrows on it on the left side of the road. Almost directly opposite this sign at the top of the bank on the other side of the road is a douglas fir tree that has had most the soil around its roots eroded and looks like it could slip down the bank and onto the road after more heavy rain. Thank you.

Request 1201285 updated at TaupoDC.
Message from 24/2/2012: This section of road will have vegetation trimmed back away from passing vehicles. This will also daylight the area pre winter, to help reduce ice. DFir trees (2-6) will be removed at this time also. This FixMyStreet request was not auto-updated from the TDC Internal Service Request system, so has been manually updated instead. Request is closed at TDC.
