FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Hi, Didn't realise that I had to locate the problem on the map last time I reported this, so now I have. The problem, as first reported, is the leaking fire hydrant in front of our takeaway which is worsening and detering customers. Some have said that there is a smell coming from the water coming out and thought it may be the sewer pipe - I don't know. Please fix! Cheers Kristina

Hi, I reported a leaking fire hydrant in front of our takeaway just before Christmas day 2012. Unfortunately, it is still leaking and is collecting rubbish which is rotting and customers are either detered from coming in or tramping it into the shop. This is unhygenic and even though we sweep and try to keep it clean we cannot always do this when there are customers in the shop. Please fix! cheers - Kristina
