FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Inappropriate tree on berm

The current tree (or shrub) is unattractive and also a hazard for any driver pulling onto Tautahanga Road from 190. I would like permission to remove it and dump it free of charge and replace with another specimen. Thinking more of a tree rather than shrub.

Request 1128475 updated at TaupoDC. shrub will be removed and a suitable replacment planted during next planting season. Removal scheduled for early new year

Request 1128475 closed at TaupoDC. shrub does not currently require removal so has been lifted and pruned to gove visual when exiting driveway. Replacement will be considered during planting season
