Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The road verges around the Aylesbury crossing where Beley road ends desperately need attention. In a smaller vehicle it is near impossible to see up the tracks safely when heading towards Charing cross. Drivers are forced to pull dangerously close or onto the tracks in order to check for on coming trains. The road verges are also a massive fire hazard.

Updates

The train track crossing by Johnny Fresh is extremley dangerous, there are no boom gates any car could drive though while there’s a train coming. Plus when there’s a train coming from the right you can not see it at all because there is a big hedge of trees.
